On its Content Platform www.ndion.de, the German Design Council, as the world’s leading competence centre for communication and know-how transfer in the field of design, publishes on current industry events. With our assignment for Corporate Blogging, we took on the challenge of sharpening the profile of the German Design Council through exciting current contributions and positioning it relevantly within the diverse media online offering. How can we attract the attention of users? How can we avoid getting lost in the overabundance of the World Wide Web? And how does a Content Platform offer the decisive added value that manifests the Council as a topic leader?
On the Content Platform ndion, hicklvesting takes on the role of a mouthpiece, a position we have been privileged to occupy since the beginning of our cooperation with the German Design Council 15 years ago: we examine phenomena in the industry, put them in relation to each other and formulate predictions for the future. Founded in 1953 by the German Federal Council, the Council as an institution and business partner is the centre of a lively network that is the cornerstone of our work. Valuable insights into corporate processes and project developments give the decisive edge in interpretive competence. As a Content Platform, the blog is therefore an ideal forum to present the Council as an international sphere of influence and its expertise as a seismograph for current developments.
An editorial plan is the starting point for all articles that hicklvesting writes for ndion according to current events. Our many years of subject expertise at the interfaces of design, brand, architecture and innovation distinguish us for the role of curators and authors of critical reporting. In close coordination with the German Design Council, we write articles in a journalistic style that discuss visionary concepts and megatrends at the interface of design and architecture disciplines.
